Directed Museum Experience
ArtH 3975, Directed Museum Experience, offers students the opportunity to earn credit toward the major or minor while gaining hands-on experience in a museum setting.
To register, first locate an internship which is of interest to you. There are many possibilities for internships at institutions throughout the Twin Cities, but perhaps the most obvious ones are:

Fill out the departmental form (PDF). If you wish to take the course A/F, you must also find a faculty supervisor appropriate to the area of the internship. Discuss the internship and the outcome to be evaluated by the faculty member, and have the faculty supervisor sign the form. Then, have the Director of Undergraduate Studies approve and sign on this page below, and take it to the Art History office to receive a registration permission number.
